Fekat Circus

Fekat, blossoming in Amharic, is a circus founded in 2004 by a group of young Ethiopian acrobats and jugglers in the suburbs of Addis Ababa. In 2009 it moved to the old centre of the city and built its own theatre and school. Today its artists perform in Ethiopia and abroad, and people from the neighbourhood train there every day, free of charge.
